Les Becs derby

Open to everyone, take part in this race by reaching Restaurant Bendolla as quickly as possible from the summit of Les Becs. Adrenaline guaranteed!

The traditional Les Becs derby is a popular speed race in Grimentz-Zinal that’s not to be missed! Organised in collaboration with the ski club and telemark club, the Derby is open to all and families can even compete in their own category.

A mass start event, similar to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and an elevation of 740m (starting from 2,870m and reaching 2,130m), speed freaks and adrenaline junkies will feel right at home.

Try to be the fastest and win our famous derby!

After the race, a pasta party hosted by Jo Mettraux will be held at the Restaurant de Bendolla.
This evening, open to all, will bring this friendly family event to a close in style.

Course :

Start: Becs des Bossons (2870 m)
Trails used: Bleue des Becs, Tsarvaz and Pachio
Course length: approx. 5.5 km
Difference in altitude: 800 m

Reconnaissance: free
Number collection: 16 to 17h in front of the Bendolla restaurant
Chairlift arrival: 5pm
1st start: 17:30 at the summit of Becs-de-Bosson
Finish: in Bendolla
Prize-giving ceremony: During the Pasta-Party with music
Prizes: Top 3 in each category & Souvenirs for all participants

Entry fees

CHF 38 per individual runner
CHF 90 per family of 3 (+ CHF 15 per additional child)

- This fee includes registration for the Derby des Becs and the Pasta-Party hosted by JO Mettraux, including aperitif and dessert.
- The registration fee is payable when the bibs are handed out.
- Payment in cash or via Twint only

Pasta Party followed by a Pasta-Party dance, with a concert by Jo Mettraux!

At the finish of the Derby des Becs, there will be an aperitif and live music in the Bendolla Restaurant. The prize-giving ceremony will take place during the evening.
Supporters, families and friends are welcome!

The gondola will turn at 5.15pm to take you to the finish (special pass for the ascent and descent in the cabin at 10.-, if you don't have a day pass or the Magic Pass).
