Reopening planned for November 2026
Built in 1891, the Hotel Le Trift is part of Zinal's history. Successively a school, post office, café, restaurant, and hotel, over the decades it has become an iconic meeting place in the village, where mountain stories and moments of conviviality were shared.
Currently undergoing renovation, the building will retain its hotel function. In November 2026, Le Trift will reopen its doors to welcome travelers and mountain lovers once again, in a spirit faithful to its heritage and resolutely focused on the future.
