Walk along by the chapel, cross the cantonal road, and start on the long, zig-zag climb towards Chandolin. There is a significant difference in
altitude, giving the impression that you are walking right up to heaven! The woodland thins out, until at last you reach La Rèche, a mid-alpine
pasture below Chandolin. A final climb brings you up into the village.
