Concert by the Duo Sylvie Bourban et Jean-Christophe Cholet

Sylvie's engaging voice and the nimble fingers of pianist Jean-Christophe form an intimate duo for a journey through the world of jazz standards.

Here are two musicians with extremely varied backgrounds. Sylvie Bourban's career has oscillated between jazz, text songs, love songs, children's music and more. Very attached to her roots, she has also recorded in Valais patois. Sylvie will be putting down her bags at the Grand Hotel du Cervin, for a jazz project, alongside a magnificent pianist.

French-born Jean-Christophe Cholet has had a particularly rich musical career, and has been called upon by many different groups.
He writes, conducts and arranges for jazz, classical and contemporary music. He is highly regarded in Switzerland for his many projects with Matthieu Michel, Heiri Känzig and the late Marcel Papaux, to name but a few.
